For children under the age of 18, a parent (or relative/caregiver over the age of 18 with written permission from a parent) must be present for every appointment.  You or the permitted adult must remain in the dental office throughout the entirety of your child’s dental procedure.  If a parent cannot be present for the appointment, please contact our office ahead of time so we may obtain any verbal or written consent that may be necessary.

Parents are permitted back to the hygiene bay or private treatment room with their child during dental appointments.  However, for routine cleanings, some procedures with oral conscious sedation, older children and those familiar and comfortable with our office, we encourage parents to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the waiting room while your kid is being treated.  If parents do decide to accompany their child to the hygiene bay or private treatment rooms, please allow Dr. Erin and her dental staff to be the focus of your child’s attention, just as caring for your child will be our primary focus.
